About the Book
The Eternal Quest
In The Eternal Quest, Rizalina Ramos Talag, known to many as Lynn Talag, offers a lyrical collection of poems that spans decades of memory, emotion, and spiritual reflection. These pieces are not just poetry, but gentle echoes of a lived life, filled with familial love, cultural roots, and the tender ache of loss. From the rain-washed hills of Bukidnon to quiet hospital waiting rooms in California, from childhood wonder to the heartbreak of final goodbyes, this book is a map of the heart.
Divided into four thematic sections: Quest and Journeys, Extension of Politics, Seasons of Life, and Reflections, Lynn’s poems capture what it means to grow, to mourn, to remember, and to heal. Whether honoring the memory of a beloved grandson or revisiting a haunting moment in wartime, her words remain grounded in truth, compassion, and spiritual strength.
This is more than a book of poetry. It is a collection of lived moments, seen through the eyes of a woman who believes in the power of words to connect generations.
